LAUNCH EVENT SUCCESS FOR DON’T BE A CANCER CHANCER
The Don’t be a Cancer Chancer campaign was successfully launched at the JJB stadium last week where TV and sporting heroes showed their support to help reduce the hundreds of lives lost every year in the Wigan borough to Cancer. Over 70 people attended the launch including survivors who had presented early symptoms of cancer to their G.P as well as local heroes Alison King - ‘Carla’ from Coronation Street and Steve Bruce Wigan Athletic Manager.
